<image:title>Our Team - Eric Sepesy Eric Sepesy is the Founder and President of Veterans First. He launched the organization in 2019 alongside Navy veteran John Mozdzien. With more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, Eric previously served in Director and Territory Manager roles before expanding into entrepreneurship. He also owns a home care agency based in Southwestern Pennsylvania that has delivered more than 1,000,000 hours of care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Eric created Veterans First with a clear mission, to serve those who have served. He envisioned a nationwide network of trusted home care agencies working together to support veterans and surviving spouses across Western Pennsylvania and throughout the United States. His focus remains on helping individuals remain comfortably in their own homes while receiving exceptional care from top-quality providers. Outside of work, Eric enjoys traveling with his family, spending weekends camping, and making memories with his wife and two daughters.</image:title>

<image:title>Our Team - John Mozdzien Eric Sepesy and John Mozdzien worked together for several years before joining forces to create Veterans First. Supporting veterans and their surviving spouses, and ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to remain independent at home, has long been a shared passion. John is known for going above and beyond for his fellow veterans and for making sure every surviving spouse is treated with the utmost care and respect. His instinct to put others first is evident in everything he does. John served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Harry Truman, a nuclear aircraft carrier where he worked in aircraft launching operations. He completed two tours in Iraq between 1999 and 2003, and his commitment to serving veterans and their families continues to be deeply personal. When he’s not working, John can be found on the softball field coaching or spending time traveling with his wife and three children.</image:title>

<image:title>Our Team - Haylee Frazier Haylee Frazier is our Referral Specialist at Veterans First. She has been assisting our fellow Veteran/Surviving Spouse families with the required paperwork for their application since 2021. She takes much pride in making the paperwork process as easy as possible for our deserving families. Haylee’s favorite part of her role is speaking with our families over the phone and learning about their/their loved one’s time in the service. “Hearing their stories & getting to show them that this benefit is something they have earned through their service is a joy I will never get over.” Haylee is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Pittsburgh after receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from Bethany College, West Virigina in 2019. In her free time, Haylee loves getting outdoors – whether that is golfing, playing tennis, volleyball, or walking her miniature poodle, Bowie.</image:title>

<image:title>Becoming a Provider - Benefits of Being In-Network</image:title>
<image:caption>As a provider, you are constantly receiving incoming calls and emails about providing care to someone local in your community. As we know, not all individuals have long-term care insurance, Medicaid, or can even afford to private pay for hours. As an in-network provider with Veterans First, you can gain more business by determining if these individuals will qualify for the Aid and Attendance and Pension benefits through the VA. This will allow them to obtain hours through your company, without them paying out of pocket. Veterans First will reimburse you, as the provider, for all hours of home care that they are entitled to. Services may start anywhere between fifteen and thirty days after we receive the client’s information, and hours per week range from nine to twenty-four hours. Plus, over 40% of our clients chose to purchase additional hours at the agency’s private pay rate. To make a referral, simply click below:</image:caption>

<image:title>Becoming a Provider - Your New Referral Source</image:title>
<image:caption>By becoming an in-network provider with Veterans First, you have the ability to receive new referrals from us. We are constantly marketing and speaking with hospitals, rehab facilities, and the VA clinics and hospitals across the US. These facilities see us as a resource and will send us referrals on a consistent basis. Once these referrals come in, we will send them out to you if they are within your service area.</image:caption>

<image:caption>If your company is already licensed to provide home care through the VA, you will be able to gain more business by becoming in-network with Veterans First. When you receive a new referral from the VA, make us aware and we can speak with this referral to qualify them for additional hours through our program that will be provided by your agency.</image:caption>

<image:title>Becoming a Provider - Co-Marketing Together</image:title>
<image:caption>As an additional service to your company, Veterans First is able to attend marketing events with your marketing department. When we both attend, we have seen that this makes a tremendous impact on the number of individuals speaking to both companies and shows the public that you want to help local veterans.</image:caption>
